What is BIAB?
You already know it stands for "Builder in a Bottle"...
But what does that even mean? How does it actually work?
BIAB is a gel product that's applied as a layer over your natural nail, like a base coat, and cured under a UV or LED lamp. The formula of BIAB polish is different from regular polish, meaning the nail is thicker and stronger after treatment. You'll have a much harder-wearing manicure with a shiny and beautiful finish.
It works by strengthening the nail, creating a durable, protective layer and helping to prevent breakage and chipping. It can help strengthen weak or brittle nails, especially if you bite your nails or are some who struggles to grow their nails, by protecting them from damage. If you're looking for stronger and longer nails, consider BIAB for its protective nature.
I will prepare the natural nail, apply the BIAB, and then shape and file it to create the nail length and style that you'd like. BIAB can be done on short nails too.
BIAB manicures can last for 3-4 weeks if you care for them properly. Once it's time for them to come off, remember you've to allow your nails a break after removal. Always let me know how long it's been since your last BIAB application, if that's the case!
